The MISSION ACTION PLAN (MAP) of the Parish of Christ Church, Essendon was adopted by the Vestry in July 2010. It can be accessed below in pdf format.
ESSENDON ANGLICAN Mission Action Plan (MAP) 2010
Christ Church Essendon is staring a new multi media Church service on the third Sunday of the month at 5 pm. The service is called REVIVE @ 5, The service will be very different from the usual traditional Sunday morning Service and will include DVDs, plunger coffee, modern music and other surprises.
This program is part of the Christ Church’s FRESH EXPRESSION and is about exploring different ways of connecting with people and worshipping God. Instead of being in the Church REVIVE @ 5 will be in the Parish Centre and will be mainly lay lead and very relaxed. It will not suit everyone, but it will suit those who want a non traditional service. The first REVIVE @ 5 will be on Sunday 17th October at 5 pm. The second REVIVE @ 5 will be on Sunday 21st November at 5 pm
BACK TO CHURCH SUNDAY
Back to Church Sunday is on Sunday 12th September 2010 and our parish is part of it.
